John has lived in the mountains of Colorado since 1995 and has been in Salida since 2002. John's love of the Upper Arkansas Valley and its people has grown over the years. He is constantly reminded of all the reasons South Central Colorado is such a wonderful place to live. John became a licensed Colorado Realtor because service work and relationships are the nature of his heart. He enjoys helping buyers and sellers reach their real estate goals. Originally, he is from the Deep South, growing up in Alabama and Tennessee, and graduating from the University of Alabama with a degree in Political Science. John is the son of an Episcopal minister and an artist mother. John's family continues his association with the Episcopal Church having been members of Ascension Episcopal in Salida since moving here. Previously, John worked for the former Salida Medical Supply where he derived great satisfaction from helping his clients with their home health needs. John's son Sam is a graduate of Salida High School and is attending The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. John's wife, Molly, is the former District Attorney for the 11th Judicial District which encompasses Chaffee, Custer, Fremont, and Park counties. Having prosecuted for 16 years she now uses her knowledge of the legal system as an attorney working for the Rocky Mountain Victim Law Center advocating for victims' rights.
